1. Scheduling of Personnel/Contractors
2. Job Cost Accounting/Contract Status
3. Review Outside Contractor Bids
4. Employing and Enforcing Engineering/Software Standards
5. Pre-engineering and Pre-Development Systems/Software Review
6. Systems and Software flow charts
7. Change Control for Installed Systems (Software/Hardware)
8. Supervising Subcontractors and Job Site Coordination
9. Maintenance Manuals and Project Documentation
10. Provide Operational Training for Customer Personnel
11. Provide Maintenance Training for Customer Personnel
SALES SUPPORT
1. Consulting to future customers
2. Accompany Sales Associates on Calls with Customers
3. Quotation Support and Involvement
4. Employing and Enforcing Quotation Standards
5. Systems Proposed Design and Review
6. Assist with Development of Functional Specification
CONTROLS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
1. Obtain System Information from Sales/Mechanical Project Team
2. Review Systems/Software Layout From Bid Prints
3. Obtain Layout Drawings from Mechanical Project Manager/Customer
4. Obtain Finalized Control Panel Locations from Mechanical Project
Team or the Customer
5. Sketch Controls on Finalized Layout Drawings
6. Review System Functional Specification with Sales, Mechanical Project
Team, and the Controls Project Manager
7. Update and expand upon Functional Specification
8. Obtain Functional Specification Approval from Sales, Mechanical Project
Manager, and Controls Project Manager
9. Send Drawings and Functional Specification to the Customer for Approval
10. After Receiving Customer Approval, Sketch Panel Layouts and Schematic
Diagrams
11. Obtain Panel Layout and Schematic Diagram Approval from the Controls
Project Manager before Releasing to the CAD Department
12. Release Approved Drawings for Manufacturing
13. Correct and Approve Drawings By CAD Department
14. Send out Bid Packages to Electrical Subcontractors
15. Submit Figures from Electrical Subcontractors to the Project Manager
for Approval
16. Write Bills of Material for each Panel
17. Obtain Priced Bills from Accounting Department
18. Write Program (if Applicable)
19. Fully Document Program (if Applicable)
20. Test Panels Prior to Shipment (if Applicable)
21. Recommended Spare Parts with Pricing along with the Approved Functional
Specification to the Project Manager
22. Travel to Job Site for Startup
23. Inspect and Approve Field Wiring by Subcontractor
24. Provide Operational Training for Customer Personnel
25. Provide Maintenance Training for Customer Personnel
26. Have Project Manager Approve Hours and Expenses
27. Record and have Customer Signature for Extra's to the Job (Copy
Sales, the Project Manager, and Accounting)
28. Obtain As Built Drawings and Have the CAD Department Update the Prints
29. Send Two Sets of As Built Drawings to Customer
30. Send Two Sets of the Documented PLC Program to Customer (if applicable)
31. Give the Project Manager Two copies of the PLC Program Files on
Disk along with a Printout
CUSTOMER SERVICE
1. Phone and Modem Support for Customers
2. Service Call site visit on all Job Sites, Currently Nationwide
3. Hands on troubleshooting and problem diagnosis
4. Service Call, Phone Contact, Modem Contact Information to Accounting
for Billing
5. Service, Operational, and Maintenance Training
